From Esbjerg with Fanøfærgen
At Esbjerg ferry terminal you can park your car, buy tickets and stretch your legs while you wait for the ferry, and continue your journey by bus, train or taxi.
From Esbjerg in Jutland, the ferry takes foot passengers, cars, motorcycles, mopeds and bicycles to Nordby on Fanø. The crossing with FanøFærgen takes about 12 minutes.

At the service center in Esbjerg you will find information, ticket sales and seating area, as well as check-in for walking passengers, and check-in for all vehicle types, such as cars, trucks, bicycles, motorcycles and mopeds.

Bus og tog i Esbjerg
Bus route 5 runs between Esbjerg central bus terminal and the ferry terminal, a distance of about 2 km on foot. Bus timetables and fares can be found on the Sydtrafiks website.
DSB trains run to and from Esbjerg railway station. Visit the DSB website for train times and to book tickets. DSBs website.
There is parking (up to 24 hours) and long stay pay parking at Esbjerg Harbour.
The 24-hour parking is at Dokvej close to the check-in and the FanøFærgen service centre.
The long stay pay parking is at Nørregade 19 (Museumspladsen) – free of charge. (parking max. 7 days) or with payment at Europark, Jernbanegade 20. It takes approx. 20 minutes to walk from the long stay car park to the ferry check-in and service centre.
At weekends, it is also possible to park at the law courts, Domhuset, on Adgangsvejen and Toldbodvej.
Information on parking charges and parking times is displayed on signs at the car parks.
Please note that the car parks are managed by the Port of Esbjerg.
