Terms and conditions for Færgen Bizz

1. Purpose of the Agreement

1.1 A
Færgen Bizz agreement is a contract between Færgen and a customer, for the transfer of a vehicle at special rates in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in section 3.1

2. Conclusion

2.1
New Færgen Bizz agreements are concluded online at www.faergen.dk. The basis for the agreement is: these terms and conditions, an online agreement and the current Færgen Bizz price list. Applicable terms and price list can be downloaded from www.faergen.dk or collected from Færgen, Dampskibskajen 3, 3700 Rønne.

2.2
Upon conclusion of the agreement, the customer may choose to:

  • register the number of a previously existing BroBizz that is to be used, from Færgen’s bizz-issuer BroBizz A/S.
  • order a BroBizz from BroBizz A/S at www.brobizz.com, against payment of the deposit and subsequently registers their BroBizz to the agreement with Færgen at www.faergen.dk/bizz

Upon conclusion of the agreement, the customer consents to the exchange of information between Færgen and BroBizz A/S, as outlined in the following

  • invoicing and payment when using BroBizz in connection with Færgen departures, annual fee and departures that were not cancelled by the cancellation deadline (No show) is via BroBizz A/S, pursuant to the terms and conditions laid down by BroBizz A/S
  • Færgen receives information from BroBizz A/S about the customer, including name, address, telephone, mobile, e-mail address, registration number of the vehicle and the BroBizz-number
  • Færgen exchanges updates of information with BroBizz A/S for the duration of the Færgen Bizz agreement
  • Færgen transfers all necessary information about the customer to BroBizz A/S for the purpose of correct invoicing of the customer for their Færgen journey.

2.4
Immediately after online registration, the customer receives confirmation by e-mail, containing agreement number and password. The agreement is valid once the customer has received  confirmation from Færgen and has taken physical possession of the BroBizz registered in the agreement.

3. Terms and Conditions for use of Færgen Bizz

3.1
Terms and conditions for use of the agreement on

  • AlsFærgen (Bøjden-Fynshav):
    Færgen Bizz Standard is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg) incl. 9 persons.
    Færgen Bizz 10 is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle length max 6 m, total weight 3500 kg incl. 9 persons. The total price of 10 single journeys is paid at the first check-in in a period. When 10 single journeys are used, the customer automatically will pay for 10 new single journeys at the first check-in hereafter. Unused prepaid journeys cannot be transferred from one period to the next. It is not possible for the customer to get a refund of unused prepaid journeys.
    Færgen Bizz Måned is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle length max 6 m, total weight 3500 kg incl. 1 person. The total price of the month´s agreement is payable at the first check-in. When the period expires, the customer automatically will pay for the next month at the first check-in after the expiry date. It is not possible to bring several persons in the car on this agreement.
    Færgen Bizz MC is valid for transfer of one selectable motorcycle, incl. 2 persons. This agreement cannot be used when crossing with a side-car/trailer.
    Færgen Bizz 10 MC is valid for transfer of one selectable motorcycle, incl. 2 persons. The total price of 10 single journeys is paid at the first checkin in a period. When 10 single journeys are used, the customer automatically will pay for 10 new single journeys at the first check-in hereafter. Unused journeys cannot be transferred from one period to the next. It is not possible for the customer to get a refund of unused prepaid journeys. This agreement cannot be used when crossing with a side-car/trailer.
    Færgen Bizz Måned MC is valid for transfer of one selectable motorcycle, incl. 2 persons. The total price of the month´s agreement is payable at the first check-in. When the period expires, the customer automatically will pay for the next month at the first check-in after the expiry date. This agreement cannot be used when crossing with a side-car/trailer.
  • BornholmerFærgen (Ystad-Rønne and Køge-Rønne):
    Færgen Bizz Bornholm belongs to the household. Upon ticket inspection, at least one person in the vehicle must be able to document an affiliation to the household in the form of photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and health insurance card. If the Færgen Bizz Bornholm is the property of a company, photo ID must be able to be shown (driver’s license, passport, etc.) along with proof of employment by the company. Færgen Bizz Bornholm is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 5 persons or camper incl. 5 persons.
    Færgen Bizz MC Bornholm belongs to the household. Upon ticket inspection, at least one person on the vehicle must be able to document an affiliation to the household in the form of photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and health insurance card. If the Færgen Bizz MC Bornholm is the property of a company, photo ID must be able to be shown (driver’s license, passport,  etc.) along with proof of employment by the company. Færgen Bizz MC Bornholm is valid for transfer of one selectable motorcycle, Incl. 2 persons.
    Færgen Bizz 50 belongs to the household. Upon ticket inspection, at least one person in the vehicle must be able to document an affiliation to the household in the form of photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and health insurance card. If the Færgen 50 is the property of a company, photo ID must be able to be shown (driver’s license, passport, etc.) along with proof of employment by the company. Færgen Bizz 50 is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 5 persons. The total price of 50 single journeys is paid at the first check-in in a period. Unused prepaid journeys cannot be transferred from one period to the next. It is not possible for the customer to get a refund of unused prepaid journeys.
    Færgen Bizz Pensionist (OAP) is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) or motorhome incl. 1 old age pensioner and one companion. Customer is traveling to applicable prices and conditions of the Terms and conditions for Færgen Bizz, version 1.1-2016 Senior Citizen Ticket.
  • FanøFærgen (Esbjerg-Fanø):
    Færgen Bizz Standard is valid for the transfer of a selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 people.
    Færgen Bizz Business is valid for the transfer of a selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 people. Færgen Bizz Business provides a space guarantee for a passenger car on the ferry under normal traffic conditions if check-in is no later than 10 minutes before scheduled departure.
    Færgen Bizz 10 is valid for the transfer of a selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 people. The product has been deleted by the 1st of September 2016. Running agreements expire no later than the 31th of August 2017. Unused prepaid journeys cannot be transferred from one period to the next. It is not possible for the customer to get  a refund of unused prepaid journeys.
    Færgen Bizz MC is valid for transfer of one selectable motorcycle, incl. 2 persons. This agreement cannot be used when crossing with a side-car/trailer.
    Færgen Bizz Grundejer/fastligger (for landowners/residents) is valid for the transfer of a selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 people. Property tax return or BBR owner certificate must be attached to the online registration. Caravan owners must attach the stamp from the campsite.
    Færgen Bizz Ø pendler (for commuters) for Fanø residents is valid for the transfer of a selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 persons or a single motorcycle with or without sidecar and trailer incl. 2 people, registered to the agreement. A copy of the certificate of residence from Fanø Municipality and a copy of the vehicle registration certificate must be attached to the online registration. The agreement belongs to the vehicle being registered on the contract. The registration certificate must be presented at the ticket  control. The customer will receive two island stickers, when the agreement has been registered, and the stickers must be visible in the car’s windscreen and the sticker number must always be
    identical to the number that is pasted to the BroBizz. If the customer signs an agreement for a motorcycle, the customer will receive a card with the agreement number, name, registration number of the MC and the island sticker pasted to it, which must be identical to the island sticker number, that has been received and sticked to the BroBizz. The agreement and island  sticker guarantees space for the first 6 island commuters at each departure.
    Færgen Bizz Erhverv (commercial) is valid for the transfer of a selectable (goods) vehicle up to or over 6 meters, total weight not to exceed 3.500 kg, incl. driver. The (goods) vehicle must be  registered to the CBR/SE number exclusively for the carriage of goods or goods in combination with private/ commercial. The registration certificate must be presented at the ticket control. It is possible to buy tickets for several persons in the car. You cannot use your agreement/BroBizz when traveling with trailers/caravans.
  • LangelandsFærgen (Spodsbjerg-Tårs):
    Færgen Bizz Standard is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg) incl. 9 persons.
    Færgen Bizz Business is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 persons. Færgen Bizz Business provides a space guarantee for a passenger car on the ferry under normal traffic conditions if check-in is no later than 10 minutes before scheduled departure.
    Færgen Bizz 10 is valid for the transfer of a selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 people. The total price of 10 single journeys is paid at the first check-in in a period. Unused prepaid journeys cannot be transferred from one period to the next. It is not possible for the customer to get a refund of unused prepaid journeys.
    Færgen Bizz MC is valid for transfer of one selectable motorcycle, incl. 2 persons. This agreement cannot be used when crossing with a side-car/trailer.
  • SamsøFærgen (Ballen-Kalundborg):
    Færgen Bizz Samsø belongs to the household. At least one person in the vehicle must be able to document an affiliation to the household in the form of photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and health insurance card. If the agreement has been taken out by a company, photo ID must be able to be shown (driver’s license, passport, etc.) along with proof of employment by the company. The agreement is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg, max length 6 m) incl. 9 persons, camper incl. 9 persons.
    Færgen Bizz Samsø Pensionist (OAP) is valid for transfer of one selectable passenger vehicle (total weight 3500 kg) or motorhome incl. 1 old age pensioner and one companion. Customer is traveling to applicable prices and conditions of the Senior Citizen Ticket.
    Færgen Bizz Samsø MC belongs to the household. At least one person in the vehicle must be able to document an affiliation to the household in the form of photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and health insurance card. If the agreement has been taken out by a company, photo ID must be able to be shown (driver’s license, passport, etc) along with proof of employment by the company. The agreement is valid for transfer of one selectable motorcycle, incl. 2 persons.

If you have only concluded a Færgen Bizz agreement for one of our crossings, you will travel at standard rate on other crossings. If you require a discount agreement with Færgen Bizz for more than one crossing, you should contact Færgen via the below contact details (ideally by phone), after registering your Færgen Bizz agreement for the first crossing. Prices and more information about the current Færgen Bizz products are available at faergen.com/bizz.

3.2
With the exception of the Esbjerg-Fanø crossing, reservations must be made in one of the following ways:

  • online at www.faergen.dk via MinFærge – log in with your agreement number and password
  • online using the optimised-for-mobile version of faergen.dk – log in with your agreement number or email address and password
  • For personal or telephone inquiries, contact Færgen at 7023 1515, stating your agreement number

3.3
If you have made a reservation that you no longer wish to use, the booking must be cancelled ahead of the scheduled departure. If the cancellation is not made on time, a

  • “No-show” fee will be charged on the Ystad and Køge crossings, corresponding to the lowest contract price for the period. The trip will not count towards your agreement Terms and conditions for Færgen Bizz, version 1.1-2016
  • The “No-show” fee for the Ballen-Kalundborg crossing corresponds to the price for three one-way trips. The trip will not count towards your agreement

3.4
Bizz may only be used for one vehicle per departure. The customer must mount the bizz on the inside of the vehicle’s windscreen. The bizz must be located top centre. If the customer does not want to drive with a bizz on the windscreen all the time, it must be installed before entering the port area. If you do not have your bizz with you, or your agreement with BroBizz A/S agreement is inactive, you will be unable to take advantage of your Færgen Bizz Agreement. The customer will be required to purchase a standard ticket, which will not be eligible for a partial refund.

3.5
Price for transfer is determined on the basis of the current price list on the date of departure. The annual fee for Ystad and Køge crossings are determined on the basis of the current price list  charged together with the first trip of the current period.

3.6
Billing and payment for BroBizz travel will be after check-in via BroBizz A/S.

3.7
The customer agrees that Færgen may photograph the vehicle at check in.

3.8
Ticket inspection: Ticket inspections are performed on the company’s ferries. If the customer is unable to produce a valid ticket and identification when required to do so, pursuant to the terms  and conditions of the agreement, or if conditions for use of the agreement are not fulfilled, an inspection charge of DKK 600.00. will be issued The inspection charge is payable alongside the  purchase of a new valid ticket.

4. Færgen’s use of customer information

4.1
The information submitted by the customer, and the information transferred from BroBizz A / S to Færgen, is used for the administration of the Færgen Bizz product. The information may also be used for targeting information and offers.

4.2
Færgen reserves the right to send (by regular mail, e-mail or SMS) general orientations for the customer, including traffic information from Færgen.

4.3
Provided the customer has granted consent, Færgen will send electronic newsletters and e-mail offers to the customer by e-mail. Electronic newsletters and e–mail offers cover both the marketing of Færgen’s own products and the marketing of products from BroBizz A/S.

4.4
The customer has the right to access the personal information that Færgen processes about the customer. The customer also has the right to object to this processing and to ask that incorrect or misleading information be deleted or corrected. Enquiries can be made using the contact details below.

5. Termination/expiration of the agreement

5.1
The customer may terminate the agreement at any time, with immediate effect. Termination must be in writing. Termination does not entitle the customer to a proportional refund of the price of the month´s agreement, a proportional refund of the annual fee or a refund of unused prepaid journeys via BroBizz A/S.

5.2
If the customer withdraws the consent outlined in section 2.3, this constitutes termination of the agreement, with immediate effect. Termination does not entitle the customer to a proportional refund of the price of the month´s agreement, a proportional refund of the annual fee or refund of unused prepaid journeys via BroBizz A/S.

5.3
The agreement is valid for 12 months from the date of the first journey except Færgen Bizz 10 Als, which is valid for 24 months from the date of the first journey. All agreements except Færgen Bizz 10 Als: After the expiry of the 12-month period, the agreement will be automatically renewed on the first trip. Use after expiry is considered as renewal of the agreement for 12 months. Færgen Bizz 10 Als: After the expiry of the 24-month period, the agreement will be automatically renewed on the first trip. Use after expiry is considered as renewal of the agreement for 24 months.

5.4
The agreement is effective until terminated by either party, but no later than 31 August 2018 on the Ystad and Køge crossings, no later than 30 September 2024 on the Ballen-Kalundborg crossing  and no later than 30 April 2024 on the Bøjden-Fynshav crossing. A termination does not entitle the customer to a proportional refund of the price of the month´s agreement, a proportional refund of the annual fee or refund of unused prepaid journeys via BroBizz A/S.

5.5
Should the customer abuse or attempt to abuse the agreement, it will be terminated immediately. Expiry does not entitle the customer to a proportional refund of price of the month´s agreement, a proportional refund of the annual fee or refund of unused prepaid journeys via BroBizz A/S.

5.6
The agreement is non-transferrable for the customer.

6. Amendments to the terms and conditions of the agreement

6.1
Færgen may amend the terms and conditions of the agreement with one month’s notice. If the customer does not terminate the agreement within this month, it shall be regarded as acceptance of the new terms and conditions. Notification may be sent by regular mail, e-mail and sms.
